it's interesting how people can behave behind the safety of a keyboard...

much like many folks in cars behave in an oblivious/superior way to
motorcyclists or bicyclists

 

it seems that the worst elements of peoples' personalities come out when
they're behind the wheel....and feel 'safe'...

many do and say things they wouldn't dream of if they were face to face

same holds true for the internet as well

 

for what it's worth...i thought Alec's original comment was an interesting
and benign observation

i can't speak for 'his' meaning...but my take was along the lines of
listening to folks who seem to think Notre Dame wins because they're God's
team

it sure didn't seem like he was attacking Nicky, his beliefs or anyone
else's for that matter

 

yup...this is a Ducati list. and it's supposed to be fun

not a place for some to call others 'an idiot' because 'they' choose to
place a meaning on something

or to call people out to try and prove 'who's right', on list or off.
really...who cares

 

maybe a little less 'shooting first and asking questions later' goes a long
way

 

i mostly lurk the list...and have for a long time...but it seems to me that
the two guys getting attacked are guys who usually have something
interesting to say

isn't there enough for us to get our undies in a bunch over...much less a
couple obervations by some good contributors to the list?
