Hey Al

I own a 748 but I am pretty sure the sockets you need are the same 
size. You'll need a 46mm socket for the back wheel, 41mm socket for 
the rear sprocket, 28mm socket for the front wheel, 21mm socket for 
the oil screen, and a 10mm Allen socket for the oil pan drain plug. 
Make sure to use proper torque specks when reinstalling.

Rear back wheel nut torque is 176nm  x by .7375 will give you ftlbs.
rear sprocket = 156nm
front wheel = 63nm
oil drain plug = 42nm
oil screen =  42nm

Pick up yourself the Haynes service @ repair manual for your bike. 
Again these are specs for the 748, 916, and 996, I think you said you 
had a 998 which I assume would be the same but double check.
