I've been pondering this whole Dani Pedrosa thing for a few days. Although
I know very little about how he achieved his accomplishments prior to
MtooGP, here are my thoughts, please flame me as needed :)

Pedrosa is a 'chihuahua'. He's blessed with superior hand/eye coordination
and highly competitive skills.

We all know this guy - we've seen him in every big city in the world. He's
the crazed-eyed kid in the 12-year old rusty car dodging around, between,
and through rush-hour traffic. "Damn you all, you're in my way, full speed
ahead" is clearly written across the top of his windshield.

At 2 AM he's not much of a problem, but around dinner time he's a menace.
Driving insanely aggressively, he's betting that he can take advantage of
everyone's survival instincts - when they see him coming they make room or
get out out of his way.

For most of his career, Pedrosa was probably fast enough to be able to get
out in front and stay there or scare guys away - hence he wins races and
titles. Unfortunately, in MotoGP he's not dealing with the roadside
chickens any longer - but he hasn't figured that out and Honda is hoping he
doesn't.

IMHO, that's what Rossi alluded to when he criticized Pedrosa's passing
earlier in the year and what Hayden tasted when he wasn't intimidated out of
the way at Estoril.

Unless he learns how to get control of himself, it's likely that someone's
going to get hurt down the road.
