[Ducati] odometer tampering

I recently bought a metric 748 speedo with two kilometers on it on eBay to
complete the "compliance" requirements on a bike imported iinto Canada from
the U.S. When I got the speedo I wanted to test it so I chucked a piece of
keystock in my hand drill and gave it a spin. The needle did not move but
the odo went from 2km back to 1km. I reversed the drill and the needle
worked fine and the odometer went back to 2km.
I now have a MPH speedo with _exactly_ 6213 miles (10000km) on it available
and I have photos of the swap to pass on to the next owner.
