I am glad to see a return to the 916ish shape to a
point.  The 999 does not have the same curvy, sexy,
organic body as the 916.  Those 916 lines are soooo
sexy and graceful together.  The MV is beautiful but
in all fairness it is still the knock off.  The 999
cannot be faulted because it works perfectly (ask
Bayliss) but it fails to move people the way the 916
does.

IMHO the 999 lines are too mechanical and too
straight, very rigid.  People expect nice looking
bikes but they always raise the bat for Italian models
(just like women).

The most unfair assignment in the world for
Terblanche, but after seeing the Hypermotard, I still
have faith.
