[Ducati] ST3 Headlights

I replaced the stock low beam bulb with a HID replacement kit. Not cheap, but the best light upgrade I've ever seen. I don't even use the high beam now, it looks like a birthday candle.
Later I added some Egan brackets with Hella driving lights ( http://www.rallylights.com/hella/ff050.asp ) controlled by the high beam switch. They pull more amps than the stock high beam, but as long as I'm not at idle the alternator can keep up.

With both beams on, you are burning 110 w instead
of 55 w. I don't recommend it. Using the
passing circuit is momentary and won't burn anything, but having both on will.

Maybe you can look into some external fog lamps
on a separate circuit? Either way, you will be
squeezing a lot from the alternator/battery .

Maybe try one of the brighter lamps
out? Xenon? I forgot the name. They are
expensive, like $50-70 for a bulb, but much whiter.
