[Ducati] gas tank issues

Aaron,
I'll take a picture this weekend. Again, this may not be what caused
YOUR cave-in, but it did cause both of mine. I saved the tank for
years, but finally threw it out. I thankfully got Ducati to replace one
of them, but I do remember the tanks being relatively expensive.
Further not in your favor is that the Terblanche bikes (99-up) aren't
as popular, so used tanks pop up less often on ebay. If you don't find
one pretty soon used, just get the tank fixed if it's done reasonably.
Anyone with a body hammer and some sort of suction producing tool can
repair a cave-in. The quality of the work is what is important.

So i'm getting a quote. But if you could send pictures or descriptions about your mods to prevent cave-ins, I sure would appreciate it.
