[Ducati] gas tank issues

Aaron,
Two things- first of all, whether or not you take it to a body shop
depends on how inexpensively you can get a new (or good used) tank.
Second, the issue may also have to do with part of the emission system.
I don't remember specifically /what/ I removed, but I had TWO cave-ins
on my 99 SS before I figured it out. The emissions piece of which I
speak is located just south of the right clip on on the frame (inside
the body-work on any SS). However, since you didn't mention which bike
you had, it could be anywhere on your bike.
