Hi Charles
It is a numbers game. How many of you would preorder a special color
bike and be willing to wait 3 to 6 months? If you were a dealer what
color would you order for stock? Hmmm....red. 
A friend of mine sold Ferraris for a while last I heard there was a year
wait on any order so you "pay the $50k down and what color did you want?
You want blue? Well that's $100k down. Why? Because if you change your
mind we can't sell blue as fast as we can sell red".
