Hi 
I with you guys white and pearl white in particular would look fabulous
on that bike. Satin black has been a Ducati stock color for their price
leader bikes the cheapest in any range were satin black so unless they
do the same thing that is give a price cut to the black they stay clear.
My bet is they pick yellow which isn't and bad choice at all. They have
a long enough tradition to justify it and it was a famous second color
for Ferrari as well.
