Scott, and LA, thank you for your updates.  I saw the first post about Bud
and was shocked, and to find out that he's passed is awful.  I've met and
visited with Bud at various times and places, Italy included, and I'm very
glad to have shared a few brief moments with him.  I've pretty much always
had good motorcycle friends, but when I got my first Ducati in '97 and
discovered the Duclist, the motorcycle friendship thing kinda shifted into
6th gear.  The continuous input from so many "bike people" from so many
places has been wonderful, and I've met so many of you at various Ducati and
motorcycle related functions that I consider myself very lucky.  Whoever is
in a position to so, please pass along my heartfelt condolences to Bud's
family and friends. 

To Mr. Bud Turner - good to meet you brother. I'm hoping to get to Italy
again soon with Vicki and some of our mutual friends, and when I do you'll
be there too. I'll hoist a few wheelies and throw down a couple of paninis
for you too. Ciao!
