There but for the grace of God go I.  My prayers to his family, of course,
but I agree that it was probably for the best.  Given an option between
living my elder years paralyzed from the neck down or "shuffling off this
mortal coil," I think I'd make the same choice Bud did.  Don't be sad.  I
hear that Heaven has some of the most awesome roads, great riding weather
year 'round, and if you happen to go down it doesn't hurt at all and the
bikes fix themselves.  =)
