[Ducati] Helmets

Did one of the motorcycle magazines do an in depth study of helmets within  
the last year? May have been Sport Rider. They caught a lot of flak. I can't  
remember all the findings but had something to do with the cheaper helmets 
being  just as good. It was a long article with a lot of testing of different 
helmets.  My son and I have unfortunately both tested helmets and their impact 
resistance.  I am walking proof they work. My daughter came off a horse and
_smashed_ her head into the ground. The foam inside her helmet looked like  a 
cracked egg. ER physician said it was all that saved her noggin. As far as 
I'm  concerned full face helmets are the only way to go. You crash in what you  
dressed in that morning. An old cliche.
