Well, FWIW, I owned a raft of Arai's and Shoei's before purchasing a Vemar
(Made in Italy) for about $325, and it is the best helmet I've owned in 30+
yrs. of riding. OTOH, my last two Arai's had bits falling off them (like
vents and trim) in their first year of use.
