[Ducati] Supersports officially dead

My '97 & '96 SP's were my "do everything" bikes. Went cross country several
times with them. Lots of twisties and camping here in the northeast as well.
The only thing I ever wanted from that bike was a little more power and fuel
injection. FWIW, I bought my first Duc (the '97 SS/SP) in Spring of '98 when
I saw the new PT design and realized it was my last chance to get the "old"
design new. Had to sell my last SS and might have bought a new DS but a 998
came my way. Have to say though, had the PT designed SS been a little
gentler on the eye I might still own a SS.
