Hey Bud, I'm with you 110%. I do live in those mountains and drive em every 
day. And you are correct. If you don't pass on a double yellow, you don't 
pass around here.



I met the nicest policeman in the world this past Sunday on Hwy 28 on my way 
to the Ga. state line. I passed a 35 MPH cager on a double yellow, on one of 
the longest straights in the mountains. The officer that ran me down and 
pulled me over checked my license, almost apologized for having to enforce 
the law and let me go. He said, "I ride a motorcycle too and I happen to 
know what that thing is you are riding (S4RS). I appreciate you stopping for 
me". I damn near passed out. I said, Mr. I want so shake you hand. He told 
me to ride safely and have a good time. I just stood there slacked jawed. In 
his honor I obeyed the law for most of the rest of the afternoon. I still 
can't get over it.
