Izzy,

Do you know if Per-Form have a UK/European version or what's the best of the Euro filters that you've played with.

Rgds,

Rob

Antonio

You can make a cheaper substitute for the K&N by using a plain
filter, JB Weld and your favorite sized nut. If you want safety
wire, use a castle nut and JB Weld the wire to the inside through the
castle. Saves about $4 per filter for me (using Perf-Form by the case)

17mm Castle nuts run me about 30 cents each, and the JB weld is about
$2 for enough to do a case of filters.

Also, I think the Perf-Form filters are better than the K&N. Their
media is about 10% bigger. Both use the same type of media, the poly
fiber stuff which filters well, better than paper. If you go through
a lot of filters, might be a good plan.
