sure, because the D16RR front end (and the 1098 much more so) are derivative
of the early 2000s japanese cat eyes.  frankly while i like the 1098s lines,
i'm disappointed.  i guess i've gotten spoiled by ducati's radical design
departures even if they were sometimes a bit misguided ;)
