Oh yeah!
I remember setting the points with a feeler gauge. It's where I learned or
developed the technique for proper feeler gauge resistance when setting the
clearances. Then in high school I discovered the Dwell meter! Shortly after
that I was playing with dual point distributors/magnetos, hot Mallory coils,
and silicone spark plug wires.
Honesty, my back wouldn't stand for all of this today, Thanks
Mr.Shockleyfor inventing the transistor!
Oh and Moonbeam was what we called the Governor of California, when I was in
college.

I go out for a ride on my new 999R and am blown away at what motorcycles
have become over the years!
