No such issue with RPM?  True as long as we are willing to accept that the tach as just a reference point but on the dyno my tach is about 500 RPM slow and of course Yamaha got into a hassle when their tach's claimed 17,500 when the bike was actually only cranking 6 grand.  Also, in the lower gears the dampening on a mechanical tach can cause it to lag behind actual engine RPM.  Thank God, or Dog, for rev limiters.  Later, Moonbeam
