Scott,
You're not in the minority here. The overwhelming majority of
motorcycle reviews I've read where there are digital tachometers have
been negative on the idea. Usually the issue is glare making the tach
useless. But, they are prevalent in purpose-built racebikes and I
haven't seen an analog tach in racecars in years.
