[Ducati] Daytime running lights (Was: Traction Control in the AMA)

I can't remember when it started here in Canada (mid 80s?) but I can't see
any downside;
blinding? no, it stops many bozos from driving with their highbeams on to
be "safe".
fuel consumption? not as much as running the wrong tire pressure .
upside:
most people are too stupid to turn their lights on in the rain, this gives
them no choice.
saves lives...maybe...dunno.

frankly don't care but wouldn't lift a finger either way to fight for it.
