Correct you are Dirk. An O2 sensor means finite injector control . Closed 
loop, read it, adjust it. Both delivery time and duration of spray are then 
controlled with tighter parameters. Closed Loop is actually the best way to 
go as far as HP and Milage are concerned. I could go on further to explain 
how alot of other sensors control fuel and spark but I really dont think 
I'll bore everyone.
