I'm not doubting you, I'm just a bit muddled. If the above statement is
true, then why can I turn my bike by leaning when I'm not holding the
handlebars at all? Because my BMW has cruise control, riding with no hands
is pretty easy. Just give me a straightish stretch of not-too-bumpy road
and no traffic, and I can do it for fairly long stretches - and even change
lane position and manage the occasional gentle bend in the road. For that
matter, if it's ALL about steering with the handlebars, then how do people
change direction when wheelying?
