If I was you I ring John Hackett at Ducati Coventry in your neck of the
woods!
I'm sure he or one of his mates can square you away with your ride. The 749r
is a cutting edge bike. more so than the 999r! They do run well. I have a
mate here who has raced a 749r for two seasons now, including a 4 HR
endurance race, and the bike has never missed a beat!

So ring Coventry!
