[Ducati] Seven failed rockers; 21 day wait for parts

I love the new USA parts system. It has taken 21 days to request and have
shipped from Bologna seven rockers which have failed at a moderate 18,000
mile number on my ST-4s. I live in Washington State which has a very strong
Lemon Law. In fact, this is how I got the bike in the first place. There is
a thirty day window for the dealer to fix a qualifying motorcycle or the law
triggers itself. DNA and Ducati Motor sPA must be deluding themselves
thinking this 'just in need approach' might work. Whereas my bike is being
repaired under a 'good will' policy of warrantee extention, what about all
the new bikes they are selling? Has anyone else run into problems obtaining
parts like this? What is one to do when stuck out on the road somewhere in
the middle of a trip? I would think DNA ought to keep a waste backet full of
rockers in Cupertino for people like me, but alas, no parts in the USA.
Ciao!
Bill
