For brake caliper mounting bolts?...hmmmmmm. Maxine had a VFR800 for a bit, I recall replacing brake pads, you do not need to remove calipers to do so but I have over the years removed calipers in many cases just to clean and inspect when replacing pads... using single use bolts....hmmmm you do learn something new every day. I have encountered such bolts throughtout Honda Motorcycle motors. Lots of confusion re lubricating threads or head on torqued fastners Some do some dont. I can tell you though wrong lube or too much is a big mistake. Some of the smaller fasteners will never torque up until they break if you use too much or wrong lube I had over the years gotten in the habit of using Assembly Lube....well someplaces not..

First time I ran into these was in 1968. I was a young pup hanging around a shop across the street building all types of Chevy racing motors. The 'mouse' motors built for the Z-28's required new head studs for every rebuild.
Explanation was they stretched on final torque and were not to be reused.
More recently, my '99 VFR800 Interceptor has them for the brake caliper mounting bolts. Honda specifies replacing when removed.
