Oh come one you are kidding right? So forget Yoyodyne, STM, Ohlins, Omega,
Pistal, Marvic, Marchesini, BST, etc etc etc etc etc....surely there is
something non OEM you will use. I have never used an OEM windscreen short of
the stock ones I almost always take off. Speedscreens, Gustafson, Zero
Gravity, Cee Bailey,LP, etc etc etc, have no real complaints in using any of
em. A polarized windscreen??? Really? So you can see the fish through the
reflected sunlight on the water? Come on. Do you really look through that
windscreen on your Superbike???? LP, all the original carbon fiber bits they
sold for early 916/998 came from a small company in Hickory NC named Fast
Company. I bought stuff from them years before LP realized who they were.
Alot of goods in LP catalog can be sourced directly from the manufacturers
or their other reps as well so it is not in many cases a product LP
manufacturers but simply something they distribute. Still we should just buy
from them? Dont get me wrong I have often turne to them for an idea of
something I was looking for and have bought from them, but not exclusively
by any means. Lots and lots of good options out there.
