[Ducati] NDC : Looking for mechanical design advice

WHy does transducer need to be in pipe? Seems to me measuring pressure you can do it several easy ways, saddle T or cut in a T. I do such things all the time at work. Not sure why transducer needs to be inside pipe ? Cant use reducer bushing and mount to end of pipe either? It has to be in pipe? Use a seaqlant that cures hard to hold in place? Silicon or something adequate to the liquid or gas you are measuring? I do not think a link seal will fit, but might try looking at all the range of sizes of link seal. Link seal is typically iused to seal a pipe into a wall opening, a wall sleeve in other words that seals out ground water and the like. Typically such things might be installed in a flanged spool piece for easy removal. I have never seen a pressure transducer stuck inside a pipe in the fashion you describe and a small part of my work is in dealing with just sorts of things. Whose transducer are you using? Rich
