Gates Submersible Fuel Line Hose exceeds the SAE 30R10 rating and is capable of handling gasoline, alcohol-extended
gasoline or diesel fuel.  The Gates submersible fuel line hose contain a special compound called fluoroelastomer (FKM), which resists gas and fuel permeation and retards ageing. It is also reinforced with aramid fiber.

You are correct about the 30R10 line. I used 30R9 but I guess I need to  
replace it.  Gates is the only company I can find that makes 30R10 and I  
can't find any place to buy it.  So I guess it is either put the 8 year old  
line back in the tank, or stick with the 30R9.
