Yeah, I think Ben Boz had the same issue when he won the AMA superbike
title. I am not sure he won more than a couple of races that year.
Depending on how the rest of the year goes for Rossi, I think Nicky may face
the "Rossi lost the title" type of comments. Don't get me wrong, I am a
Nicky fan, and am not sure who I'd like to see win more, him or Loris (
cause he's on a Duc ).
A couple of DNF's and a broken wrist, and Rossi is still in the hunt. Even
if he doesn't win the title, its hard to say he's not the greatest racer out
there, if not one of the greatest of all time. It's taken this bad string of
luck or fate, to actually even up the field a little bit. And I admit it is
a lot more fun to see some others, especially Nicky, up front.
