They have a new editor. I don't now why the magazine looks so different to
me but now Jeff Buchanan gets to write more and Arthur Coldwells is at the
helm. I don't know if this is the difference, Jeff and Arthur are friends but
for what it's worth Arthur was determined to watch every race at Miller AMA,
not just the SBk one, so he's a kindred spirit. Jeff is like that too so it
could just be the evolution of the original direction while the magazine found
it's readership but whatever it is, it's working.
By the way, they are putting on a big motorcycle show at Laguna so if you
are at the races and near the Portola Plaza hotel you should wander in and check
it out. Last year I can around a corner and there was the Rollie Free
Vincent (you know, the guy in his swim trunks laid out on the bike) which is in my
opinion the most famous bike in the world, and ended up in a big discussion
with it's owner because (oddly) he doesn't think it is. Anyway, my point is
you never know what you'll see there but it's likely it'll be memorable.
Here's the famous Rollie Free picture for anybody who doesn't remember
seeing it before:

good call Vicki! I got a hint of this when I found their write-up of the
2005 MotoGiro. not really great then but definitely moving in the right
direction.

I'll be giving this one a look, thanks for the heads up!
