yeah, I guess it would be the same reason they stick with the L-twin engine instead of making an inline four or something like that. I think the SSS looks better too. MV Augusta has them at least.

Ducati is big because of innovation and trick charictaristics like SSS. The 
smartest thing they could ever do is go back to it, even if its more for 
visual impact, then anything else.
