Scottie,
I work for Astec in Chattanooga, TN. We build just over half of the asphalt production facilities in the US. If you're interested in a position there is one open for a project manager here. I'd be happy to put your resume in the right hands if you're interested, or you can apply online at www.astecinc.com.
Cheers,
Scott Cloninger, P.E.

Well..... I'm hopin ya'll can send some good vibes this way. I recently
graduated from Northeastern University on May 6th with a degree in
Mechanical Engineering Technology. After CO-OPing with the USDOT at the
Volpe National Transportation Systems Center... it appears that
transitioning to full-time is becoming a drawn out process, shrouded in
uncertainty. So, I am actively searching and applying for jobs elsewhere,
both private sector and in the government.
If something doesn't come around soon... I will sadly be forced to sell my
1992 851 and all the motor kit parts I've tracked down over the last 2
years. I know I've contemplated selling it on the list before, but this
unfortunately would have to be a financial reality.
I have my '98 Monster 750 sold, which will hopefully hold me over for a
little while...
But send over some good job-finding vibes, and cross your fingers for me. I
have dreamt about building my 955cc motor and restoring her to her mighty
glory with freshly painted frame, fixed up swingarm, and other proper
bits... so I'm hoping adventure can come to fruition and be facilitated
pending a reliable income!!!
So anyway, thought I'd request some good karma here and I'll let you all
know what happens!
If anyone here is interested, or knows someone looking for a stunningly
clean '92 851 which is original and literally shines like new... let me know
and I'll keep you in mind should the circumstances unfold along that course.
Otherwise I'd go the eBay route, but I'd much rather not!!!!
Anyhow, enjoy the warm weather, and I'll keep ya'll posted.
ScottieD.
