OK I have to chime in.... in MY opinion after having pretty much all the
"sick" new tires on bikes... Michelin Powers, Pirelli Supercorsas, Dunlop
GP's, etc...
For a street bike, if you want something that can handle sporty riding but
get good mileage, I absolutely love the Michelin Pilot Roads. I have em on
my 851 and have used nothing else on her. They wear better then the Pilot
Sports, and can handle 90% of the cornering grip that these new tires can,
or at least I've never felt unsure of them on the street.
I love the grip of the Pirellis on my Triumph 675, but after 3k miles the
rear is starting to wear pretty bad.
