Mike,

I wouldn't go ever again if I were you. It sounds like hell. There
wasn't UNLIMITED free water for you? The nerve!
Free babysitting of your helmet, leathers, lawn chairs, etc. was done on
a SCHEDULE? Gasp!
I hear they actually stopped letting Duc's park on the island when the
was no more room...Scandal!

Get a grip dude...

Try checking your gear for free at Honda or Yamaha next time. You'll be
even more disappointed.
The hours of the gear check were the same as the rest of the island and
were not only posted but announced constantly over the loudspeaker WITH
the race schedule for the day. I volunteered at gear check all 3 days as
I do every year. Where do I think I'm going? Maybe I should wait around
til 7:00 for people that can't read a schedule or plan ahead.

As for the shortage of FREE water. The hospitality volunteers were
handing it out as fast as it was being delivered. Water and ice are
bought from a vendor and delivered along with ice to the island. Ducati
is at the mercy of their schedule and delivery. When the water ran out,
reasonable intelligent people walked 50 feet and BOUGHT a bottle. What a
concept!

I'm with you on the vantage points, bleachers, etc. but Ducati is going
WAY above and beyond with their hospitality. There is no other marque
that even comes close.

I know, I know, it's much easier to whine online than take
responsibility for your own experience.

Get Speed Vision and stay home next year. There will be more room to
park on the island for me and my friends.
