I'm trying out a pair of Metzler M-3s after running M-1s for the last few years on my Monster and ST4s. I have two thousand on the ST4s now, lots of canyon road running and they work well for me, much better than the Dunlap's a friend of me talked me into trying last year. The rear is just starting to show some wear after 2k miles. They seem to have plenty of side grip but have a lighter, quicker transfer from side to side than the M-1s did. I find them extremal stable when the bike is laid over, especially on high speed curves and if the mileage claims pan out I will probably be running them for several years. Later, Mike D. Bike

What is the current opinion for a good all around street tire for the bike? I'm a street rider, don't do track days (yet! but probably won't while this set of tires is on the bike). I need something that will give reasonable wear and wet weather traction (living in FL, you can get caught in the rain easily).
