Since Ronald mentioned replacing a headlight.....let's open that can of
worms. My electrical knowledge is pretty limited, but I gotta say that my
low-beam is USELESS!!! What replacement bulbs can I use to increase the
effectiveness and conspicuousness of my headlight? Are any of the white or
blue replacements any more illuminating? Is there a Xenon replacement that
makes sense? Who has experience with this issue?

Thanks, in advance, for any advice.

Not sure what the lighting arrangement on your bike is but a lot of the
Elefant owners have put in additional headlight relays. They run a power
takoff from the starter + wire and use the standard headlight switches to
activate the relays. That means no volt drop across the handlebar switch
and usually results in brighter lights immediately. Of course then you can
always up the bulb wattage a bit without over stressing the stock wiring.
