Nothing against Indy, but I hope this doesn't mean no more USGP at Laguna
Seca...

Indianapolis Motor Speedway president Joie Chitwood said progress is being
made on two future races at the track.
He said talks with Formula One are looking good for another U.S. Grand Prix
in 2007. His boss, Tony George, has spoken with Bernie Ecclestone and they
are working through the details of a new contract.
The other race would be for motorcycles, likely in 2009. Chitwood attended
last weekend's MotoGP World Championship race in Monterey, Calif., for the
second year in a row and came away feeling more optimistic than ever that he
understands the sport's landscape well enough to host an event.
If a race were held in 2009, it would be the 100th anniversary of the
track's first motorized event, which was a motorcycle race.
