To all -
Me and da Bus just got back to Scottish Woods from the wonderful weekend at
Laguna. I wanted to express my deepest thanks to all who made this year such
a great success. I know I may miss someone but I will try to cover 'em all.
Peter Bonner - It was great to so see ya again and share this unique
experience with ya. I love the stickers on the Strada.
Aaron Bonner - thanks for supplying the House with more GREAT beer than we
deserved. You went over and above with the effort you extended to set us up
with a first class setup. Your support in assisting Paul Ritter and anyone
else who needed help cannot be minimized.
Marc Bonner - Your mastery of the grill (along with Aaron) was much
appreciated Sunday night. World class burgers that really hit the spot.
Alec Moss - Thanx for coordinating the supply and delivery of MORE craft
brewed beer. Such wonderful flavors that added Aaron's. It was a terrible
dilemma every time I walk up to the beer corner of the porch. It was even
worse when I had to reluctantly turn down your generous offer to let me take
the left over back with me. I just did not have room in my Civic for
everything I had to transport back home. I am really looking forward to
getting to your brewery and restaurant (Half Moon Bay Brewery -
http://www.hmbbrewingco.com/) to partake of your generous hospitality. If
anyone on the lists is local, you really need to patronize this wonderful
facility.
Tim O'Mahony - Thanx for going out of your way to pick up the beer from Half
Moon Bay. That really simplified things on my end. You are a class guy with
a beautiful Darmah. It was great seeing you and your buds again.
Tim Keyes - What can I say? Tim shows up with MORE craft brewed beer and
some of the best cheese anyone there had eaten. I think we had close to 100
gallons of beer available. Those of you who didn't show at Da House, you
really missed out.
Paul and Heather Nielsen - Thanx for jumping in an cooking the extra food.
You filled in the gaps at the busiest times to make sure that no one went
without something to eat. Your help during the cleanup was deeply
appreciated.
Hans Mellberg and friend (Hans - sorry for not remembering your charming
GF's name) - general support during the serving and cleanup.
Paul Ritter - It was an inspiration to us all to share this weekend with
Paul. Watching his dogged determination to overcome his considerable
physical challenges left me speechless. I feel privileged to have been in
the same building with you.
Vicki Smith, Rich Lambrechts and Steve Allen - Thanx for the countless hours
you and your support personnel put in to make the Island a resounding
success again. We were all thrilled to see you guys at the House Friday.
(Vicki - BTW - I have Fred's camera bag etc. I tried to call him but could
never get a hold of him. I wanted to deliver it to him when I passed thru
Little Rock.)
Tom Rolland - Once again - the Hotel Rolland provided shelter to me on my
trek eastward. Your Garage Mahal is worthy of adulation. Your house just
keeps getting better. It's always a pleasure to visit you and get the latest
updates on what is going on in Beveldom. Even at midnight. Thanks for being
there.
Last, but certainly not least - All of the Ducatisti who showed up and made
the weekend the great time that it was.
