Hi Mark.
It may be that your carbs are cloggged. Anyway as it is a lot of work to go
there, I suggest to make some simple checks before:
1. Check that engine kill switch on rigth handlebar is on.; I am ashamed to
admit that it happens to me once, and I noticed after 1 hour working on the
bike
2. Make sure fuel pump is working when ignition switch is on (you should
hear the noise). Related fuse is also responsible for ignition
3. Drain old fuel from the carbs and try to start again with fresh fuel
If you like mechanics it's a great bike to del with. As source for technical
information please check the desmodue manual from LT Snyder,
www.desmotimes.com, and Haynes. For spare parts list www.duc.nu
Welcome to the family/ Regards/ Antonio
