Hi all!

This is my first post to this forum and the first time ive used email type
forums.

Recently i inherited a 1992 ducati 900 ss full fairing. It has basically
been sitting for the past 8 years and has 21k miles.

I put in a new battery and drained the tank and put in new gas. It turns
over but no starts.

I have the maintenance records for it and they are very thorough and
complete.

What is you guys advice on what to have the dealer do, and what i should do
before taking it to the dealer? Others have advised that it needs all
fluids drained and replaced(clutch/brakes/front shocks/oil), also the chain
cleaned and lubed, new tires, spark plugs, and for the dealer to rebuild the
carburators, replace belts, and check/adjust the valves.

So should i do all the replacing of fluids/chain/spark plugs before taking
it to the dealer? Will anything i do before hand be redundant?

Thanks very much for your help and for sharing your knowledge.

-Mark(Tulsa Oklahoma USA)
