[Ducati] 2000 748 problems

Im taking apart my 2000 748 and am slowly turning it into a race bike.  I am 
having problems getting the large nut off of the flywheel.  I think its 
about 30mm but am not sure.  I have a belt wrench to grip the flywheel.  But 
it seems to not want to budge.  This is also true for the clutch bolt that 
holds the cage on.  I was just wondering if there were any tricks to these 
two bolts.  I plan on dropping the engine and want to bore it out to a 850, 
so any help from people who have done this would be great.
Also if there are any riders in the Seattle area that want to ride let me 
know, I just moved up here and dont know any other Duc riders
