Well I had my 95 SP's valves adjusted at Forza in Escondito this saturday
and I have to tell you it was a great experience. Left my house in San
Bernardino and got there around 8:30 am. Sat outside untill they opened at
9:00 and ran into a guy named Javier from the DRC. Nice guy. When they
opened they allready had my service work order waiting for me and got me
right in. The show room is beautiful and they are still working on it. The
shop is large and clean. All the employees were very pleasent and showed
real concern that I was comfortable. The Tech was really cool as he would
let me know how things were going and even provided me with a record of the
before and after clearences. He replaced my plugs as he was thorough enough
to note they the old ones were shot. They finished around 1:00 pm and I was
really surprised to find my total bill was 267.00 with the plugs. The last
time I had a valve adjust it cost me over 300.00 and that was all they did.
While I was waiting I had the oppertunity to run into a friend of mine from
the High Desert on the other side of the San Bernardino mountains where I
live. Funny how you run into someone you know on a Duc just about anyplace
you go. Several people were taking delivery of their new SPort Classics and
we stood around shooting pics and the breeze. Really nice guys. I left
Escondito for home, which was 95 miles away , at 3:45 pm and was home at 5
till 4. 110 Degrees in some spots . When I got home I was so dehydrated I
was shaking. Felt like I had been in a Blast Furnace for over an hour. After
a dip in the pool all was good again. Overall it was a great experience and
I would recommend Forza to all Duc owners. They even threw in some Moto Forza
stickers for my bodywork. Looks really cool. Oh yea, the ole girl runs like
a champ !
