[Ducati] 999 exhaust options

Personally, I don't like the look of the Remus slip-ons

Check out the
Ducati 999 Exhaust Kit - 96436303B
Asymmetric Steel exhaust
kit(102db) with ECU and high
efficiency air filter.
This place ships worldwide.
http://www.ducatistore.co.uk/acatalog/Ducati_999_Performance_Parts.html

This is reasonable price, gets rid of the pre-cat in the front cylinder pipe
and cats in the can.
Also gives you the air filters and ECM. plug and go

This is the one I put on my '06 749D, very happy with the results.

You can also look at the Zard system, I would recommend Section 8 superbike
http://www.section8superbike.com/cgi-bin/section8/scan/fi=products/st=db/sp=results_749_999/co=1/sf=category/se=749::999/op=eq/nu=0/cs=1/sf=category_2/se=Exhaust/op=rm/nu=0/cs=/ml=10/tf=sort_order/to=n/tf=color/to=x.html?id=3jirIXUp

hope that helps,
I previously recommended Motowheels.com
Don't bother, they sent me the kit for the 999 deep sump and missing the air
filters and ECM. after cutting/welding/and a power commander it finally
works...but now I know I got taken for a ride......
I didn't know the kit came with both, long story short........go with the UK
dealer above, and make sure it is for your 999(I think you have the deep
sump motor) the new 999's have the shallow sump

Enjoy
-Alex

I have a stock 2003 999.
Was wondering what people like for options (affordable) for exhaust
upgrades.
Any thoughts on the Remus slip-ons?
I really dont want to spend $3000 on the full Termignoni conversion.
Appreciate the thoughts and comments.
