[Ducati] Front Fork limit

Good day, 

Just fine tuning my suspension on my 749.  Using a zip tie on the front, how much fork leg is still present from the casting up when the fork is completely bottomed out??

Reason I ask is that it was discovered that the new Triumph 675 still has 17 mm of fork leg showing from the bottom when the forks are buried. Its been causing some issues for people setting up the front end.  I dont want to bottom the fork at Road America or whatever, so what kind of distance from the bottom up should I be expecting with my front pre-load reference??
