[Ducati] About to purchase an '02 998R

Go for it, if an original 998R next to 996R and a few other rare models one of the best of the old schol ducs you can buy. I have a 2001 996R and between it and 998R hard to say which better. These are for folks who want older tamburuini styling with new Testa motor. For my taste the best of both worlds. A clean bike in the 15s is not such a bad buy. Actually a good buy if you ask me. My 996R came with some bells and whistles, mag wheels, slipper clutch, AMS triples etc etc etc and was over 20000 and I thought a bargain when I bought it several years ago. I would not hesitate if I was you. 998R is a very desireable bike for those that know. Rich
