My instrument panel got replaced under warranty so now I put a prophylactic 
over the gauges when I wash it. The trip-o-meter function is the only one 
that is still screwy. I think the speedometer reading being high is a stock 
Multistrada characteristic. Tire height varies so speed reading will too. 
More on the tires later...

Warranty has been good to me; the afore mentioned IP, oil lines, mid-pipe 
and sidestand all covered. The fuel gauge empty light goes on when 
approximately half of your fuel has been used. Here's what folks from the 
Borgo Panigale tell me about the Multi: "It is an adventure touring bike. In

remote areas you should be able to return to your origin for fuel, hence the

placement of the single sending unit". I don't know what I think about 
that... Could be true or could be a really good cooperate damage control BS 
kind thing.

Tires, OMG have I been through some. I finally found a combo that works for 
me. I'm running a Sportec M1 on the front and a RoadTec Z6 in the rear. The 
Z6 and M3 neither worked for me on the front, and both the M1 and M3 wore 
too quickly on the rear. The combo I'm running now is the first that has 
lasted through an oil change. Much better turn in and all the Metzlers stop 
better (wet or dry) than the stock Scorpion Syncs.

Now, my questions. Has any body figured out the honking centerstand ? I have

slammed the left side hard into a corner so many times that it now hits the 
chain. I've ground on the thing, realigned the brace on the cat box a couple

of times, blah blah blah. I know what you're thinkin'  Trash the thing ! I 
would, but I ride my Multi in places where I should be on my KTM, and I'd 
like it to sit obediently every once in a while. ANY suggestions would be 
nice at this point.

Next, the thing that I need is for someone to make be some passenger pegs to

fit in a stock placement and be able to work with the DP rearsets. Rear peg 
placement needs to remain in the stock place so the pannier frame will 
connect in the front. ANY BODY got any suggestions ? Anyone know if there 
are adjustable rearsets ?

Looking really forward to Laguna too. Can't wait to meet more of the family.
