[Ducati] Carbon Fiber detailing question, please.

What I used is not a wax - it's a find-cut polish (Mequiar's).
See below.
But all traces of it are gone now...what's left is the faint whiteness of the resin
in those teeny tiny DP resin pits.  Thanks.

I used rubbing alcohol to clean all the wax out of the pours before I clear  
coated my front fender. And yes it is from Ducati High Performance and has  
the texture of concrete. But it's shiny. I tell people it's racing  
stuff.....
