Steve, well said. You' re one lucky guy, and I don't mean to steal your thunder, but...
after only 4 years with me (her 3rd partner), when the entire planet hurled itself up at us at somewhere near 30 mph (think of the inertial force there), my partner threw herself into the gap, sacrificing large portions of her stunningly beautiful skin (not to mention some running gear), to protect my fragile mortal coil. Now, she insists on waiting patiently for me to heal before asking for some attention and TLC to bring her back to her  former glory. Now that's a partner. Oh, yeah, the current SO seems reluctant to marry me. Wonder why.
